a web author, and this site was built by me with
much struggle, so hopefully I will be forgiven for
the odd broken link or strange-looking page!

Artists Statement: "I work primarily
with pastels, although sometimes do produce
oil paintings, and also some watercolour or conte
images. My paintings are a celebration
of the world around me. I am excited by the
way light sparkles on water; how soft dappled light
transforms a scene; the crumbly texture of an old
stone wall; the joy and innocence of youth. I suppose
my pictures are moments in time - moments of perceived
beauty, which I try to capture and then share with
you, the viewer. If you enjoy the images,
my pleasure is multiplied."
